We are excited to share that Tenor Journal Square High School is participating in United Way’s Teen Mental Wellness: Empowering Minds program for the 2026-27 school year. Journal Square is one of the participating high schools in the Greater Milwaukee Metro Area working to strengthen mental wellness supports for our students and staff.
Tenor Journal Square had its official kick-off on Tuesday, and we are excited about all the opportunities this program will bring to our school community. Empowering Minds provides schools with funding, coaching, and a framework for building stronger mental wellness systems, including identifying needs, strengthening collaboration, developing clear referral pathways, expanding resources, and creating sustainable supports.
Our goal is to use this multi-year opportunity to increase access to mental health resources, normalize conversations around mental wellness, and ensure both students and staff have the support they need to thrive. We are eager to begin this important work and are grateful to United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County for this incredible investment in our school community.
