Tenor Journal Square Expansion
The Tenor Journal Square campus opened in November 2021 to complement our original Tenor Cathedral Square Campus. At the time we opened, we had renovated one of the two buildings we purchased for the Journal Square campus and made plans to complete renovations of the second (North) building in subsequent years.
In Fall 2023, we opened the Innovation Lab on the renovated ground floor of the North building, and in Fall 2025, the first phase of our renovation project was completed. The cafeteria was expanded, and the second floor of the North building was built out to accommodate growing enrollment. Meanwhile, a designated space was created to house our student-run Coffee Cafe.
For the 2026-27 school year, we built out the third floor in the North building, which includes a state-of-the-art Science Suite and a Senior Seminar area where students attending MATC can gather and work when they return to Tenor Journal.
Through this expansion project, we are able to provide greater access to the Tenor model while retaining our signature small-school environment.
