Seeds of Health takes on virtual learning

Committed to providing our students the tools they need to be successful, we have taken all five of our schools on-line. We continue to provide meals through a drive up "Grab-and-Go" breakfast and lunch service Monday-Friday.

All Seeds of Health students have been equipped with a Chromebook as well as a mobile hotspot for those not connected to an internet service provider. Each morning, our teachers communicate the agenda, assignments and expectations for the day through a variety of methods including videos, screen sharing, audio files, slide decks, etc. Students are asked to engage in the work as directed and to complete all assigned tasks for each class daily. Teachers are available during regular school hours through email and Google Hangouts which provides both the option to chat or video call.

In addition to daily instruction to all students, the special education team continues to provide special designed instruction outlined in a student's individual education plan through virtual face to face time on Google Hangout, email, Google Chat, as well as resources sent home by their special education teacher.
